Aims : To develop learning materials that would be relevant and meaningful in an online environment.
Innovation :
- ‘A Day at the desk’ (similar to a toolbox) is the major resource used for this project. It provides learners with access to a virtual workplace.
- This has been complemented by the development and use of quizzes and games.
- Students are encouraged to collaborate and share their learning experiences by using the discussion board.
- Chat sessions are scheduled at regular intervals with activities and tasks being submitted using email.
Improvements : The learning environment that has been implemented will help to engage learners and assist them to acquire understanding and knowledge of the competency.
